Abstract:The electron ionization mass spectrometric behaviour of a series of diethylindium complexes with imino ligands derived from piperidine, pyrrolidine, azetidine, methylaziridine and dicyclopropylamine were investigated. These data have been compared with those from mass-analysed ion kinetic energy spectrometry. Fragmentation patterns of the complexes in question give information relevant to their gas-phase behaviour as precursors for III-V semiconducting materials via metal-organic chemical vapour deposition. scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
