Abstract:We study homogenization and two-scale convergence. Homogenization is a mathematical concept that makes it possible to develop a global model of the behaviour of a physical structure evolving in a heterogeneous structure. The behaviour of this physical structure will therefore be studied in a homogeneous environment, which greatly facilitates calculations. The two-scale convergence method was introduced by Nguetseng and later developed by Allaire. It is a particular form of weak convergence, a convergence betwe… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
