Abstract: An inflammatory myofibroblastic tumor (IMT) is a very rare tumor of mesenchymal origin with unclear etiopathogenesis, no unique diagnostic features, and no specific management protocol. It is often confused with inflammatory pseudotumor in literature, and the distinction needs further study.
