A Green Method to Prepare a Highly Concentrated Reduced Graphene Oxide (RGO) Dispersion and Its Anti‐Ultraviolet Radiation Property in RGO‐Modified Cotton Fabric

Abstract: Using honeysuckle extract as reductant, a green and efficient route is developed for preparing reduced graphene oxide (RGO) with high solubility (3 mg/mL) in water without stabilizers. The dispersibility of as‐prepared RGO is higher compared with data reported (normally <1 mg/mL). The produced RGO can be uniformly dispersed in water and organic solvents with excellent stability even after one month. As a proof of concept, the RGO coated cotton fabric has outstanding anti‐ultraviolet radiation properties with a… Show more

“…In Figure 1c, the adsorption peak at 3056 cm −1 was assigned to the hydroxyl group (COH). The peaks at 1620, 1475, 1371, and 1058 cm −1 indicated the ketone (CO), carboxyl (COOH), alkenyl (CC), and alkoxy (CO) groups, respectively 60–62 . The decrease or disappearance of observed peaks for ERGO was associated with a reduction in oxygen‐containing functional groups in GO, which resulted from alterations made to the intensities of these peaks.…”

[60][61][62] The decrease or disappearance of observed peaks for ERGO was associated with a reduction in oxygen-containing functional groups in GO, which resulted from alterations made to the intensities of these peaks. The x-ray diffraction analysis was used to examine the crystalline character of Pt nanoparticles deposited onto PEDEOT/ERGO.…”

“…The rising value might be related to an increase in the number of sp2 domains and a decrease in the size of sp2 clusters. [42,[58][59][60] For comparison all samples of FTIR spectra were presented in Figure S1. In the FTIR spectrum of epoxy, between 1300 and ChemistrySelect 1000 cm À 1 CÀ O stretch of ether appeared.…”

“…In order to address this defect, many strategies have been attempted, including adding anti ultraviolet agents, modifying support materials, and coordinating with additional ligands. [9][10][11][12] The results indicate that introducing some neutral ligands into the complex can enhance its UV resistance. Therefore, developing new ligands is necessary for the development of rare earth composite luminescent materials.…”
