Abstract:A novel green efficient methodology was developed for the synthesis of some regioselective 1,4‐disubstituted‐1,2,3‐triazoles through an enzyme laccase (Trametes Versicolor) catalyzed reaction. The reaction utilizes the Click chemistry approach for the formation of highly substituted and regioselective triazoles. The methodology is unprecedented in the way that it executes under mild conditions at room temperature using green buffer solvents. An array of substituted triazoles were feasibly synthesized and chara… Show more
“…Ethanol, PEG-200, PEG-400, Ionic liquids, Glycerol, DES, green buffer solvents, etc., are some alternative green solvents that can be used as reaction media for CuAAC. [65][66][67][68] It's important to note that the choice of solvent should be based on the specific CuAAC reaction conditions and the compatibility of the solvent with the reactants and catalysts.…”
The anthropogenic influence on the environment, exemplified by phenomena such as global warming, ozone layer depletion, glacier melting, biodiversity loss, and significant shifts in climatic conditions, has catalyzed a marked...
