Abstract:Deep brain stimulation (DBS) targeting the lateral habenula (LHb) is a promising therapy for treatment-resistant depression (TRD) but its clinical effect has been variable, which can be improved by adaptive DBS (aDBS) guided by a neural biomarker of depression symptoms.
