Abstract:Background: Acoustic neuroma, also known as vestibular schwannoma, is a non-cancerous tumor that accounts for up to 90% of all cerebellopontine angle (CPA) tumors. The treatment for acoustic neuroma typically involves surgical removal of the tumor.
