Abstract: Recently, Buchmüller and Helzel proposed a modified dimension-by-dimension finitevolume (FV) WENO method on Cartesian grids for multidimensional nonlinear conservation laws which can retain the full order of accuracy of the underlying one-dimensional (1D) reconstruction.
