Abstract:Constant phase elements (CPEs) are commonly used in bioelectronic systems, to model the impedance of bioelectrodes and electrode-electrolyte interfaces. To simulate the systems with an electronic design automation tool, a circuit-simulatorcompatible model of the CPE is required to use bioelectrodes in circuit simulation. This paper applies rational function approximation to the impedance of CPEs as a function of frequency, which is able to be implemented with Verilog-A language. In comparison to previously pub… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
