Abstract:In recent years, the use of very long baseline interferometer (VLBI) devices has increased in the geodesy and radio astronomy communities. To enable these devices to pick out very small variations, it is desirable to increase the sensitivity of the detection of the VLBI. For observing quasars, it is beneficial to increase the observation bandwidth and improve the sensitivity of detection. However, for such wide bandwidth systems, gigahertz-order sampling high-speed AID converters are necessary and the technolo… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
