A highly selective UWB bandpass filter using stepped impedance stubs

Abstract: We present a new ultra-wideband (UWB) band-pass filter (BPF) configuration with a stepped impedance short-circuited stub (SISS)-loaded triple-mode resonator (TMR) and stepped impedance radial stub (SIRS). The novel SISS-loaded TMR and SIRS improve the roll-off ratio at both ends. Even though this UWB BPF is based on a single resonator, the measured results show excellent in-band performance with a small insertion loss less than 0.6 dB and return loss greater than −16 dB. The proposed UWB BPF has sharp roll-off… Show more

“…A large prime number is selected randomly as the private key (k 2 < n 2 ) in the first-level main chain. The public key of the elliptic curve E is calculated by Formula (7). The first-level main chain sends (G, K 2 ) to the second-level slave chain through the cross-chain protocol.…”

“…Therefore, the management of industrial internet identity analysis data faces many problems, such as complex types, a wide range of information, rapid growth, low security, etc. [6,7]. For this reason, a safe and efficient management method is urgently needed to solve the problems existing in the current identity analysis data of the industrial internet [8].…”

“…Therefore, the requirements of very wide passband with high selectivity, compact size, and low insertion loss have become highly desired. Consequently, several methods and various techniques have been proposed in the recent reported literatures to implement UWB BPF with high performance [2][3][4][5][6][7][8][9][10]. For example, parallel-coupled microstrip lines have been used in the design of UWB filter with a wide stop-band [2].…”

“…But in this structure the fractional bandwidth (FBW) of the designed filter is limited. Among the reported technique for the implementation of the UWB BPF, the multi-mode resonator (MMR) method which is the most popular method for the design of UWB filters have been proposed to improve the performance of UWB BPF [6][7][8][9][10]. For example, the UWB BPF based on a triple-mode resonator using a stepped impedance short-circuited stub has been proposed in Ref.…”
