A Human Health Risk Assessment of Pharmaceuticals in the Aquatic Environment

Abstract: Analyses were conducted on four pharmaceutical compounds, representing different therapeutic classes, to evaluate the presence and potential adverse human health effects of trace levels of these substances in aqueous environmental media.
