Abstract:Automotive wiper-windshield friction noise is one of the important factors affecting the vehicle interior sound quality. Due to its transient, nonlinear, and uncertain characteristics, the wiper-windshield friction noise has always been a problem in vehicle engineering. Based on rigid-flexible and acoustic-structure coupling models, a hybrid simulation procedure for the friction-induced vibration and noise of a wiper-windshield system is presented in this paper. In light of the rigid-flexible coupled dynamic e… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
