A lost suture needle in the left ventricle 4 years after cardiac surgery

Abstract: We present an unusual case of a patient with a lost suture needle in the left ventricle, 4 years after cardiac surgery. We show the temporal image comparison using computed tomography as well as the macro and pathological findings of the suture needle and myocardium.
