Abstract:A lumped pathway metabolic model was developed for carbon-accumulating phototrophic microorganisms. The model (denoted the Phototrophic Process Model, or PPM) was developed using the metabolic pathways of Chlamydomonas reinhardtii (a green alga), which were used to solve for model stoichiometry.
