A Model Considering QoS for Real-Time Systems with Energy and Temperature Constraints

Abstract: Saving energy is widespread goal, particularly in battery-supplied real-time embedded systems. Moreover, application lifetime and delivered quality of service are associated with the amount of energy that can be saved. In this context, mechanisms for providing energy savings must be in place and should take into consideration system-wide aspects such as CPU usage and temperature, which influence in the energy consumed by the system.
