A multidimensional approach to rarefied and transitional flows with the CIP method

Abstract: SUMMARYA high-order kinetic approach based on the CIP method to solve the nonlinear multidimensional BhatnagarGross-Krook equation is presented. Some applications such as Couette/Poiseulle flows and supersonic flows show that the present method can give accurate and stable solutions for both rarefied and transitional gas flows.
