“…Isotropic peaks are evident at −9 ppm and +4 ppm (no metallic 23 Na resonances are observed), and there is a broad unresolved feature underneath the peaks. Freitas et al 25 measured the 23 Na resonance within the range of 0 to −30 ppm for Na + infused carbon (with a much smaller average pore size than that reported here). This Na site was characterized by a large quadrupole coupling constant of about 1.2 to 1.8 MHz.…”
