A multipulse excited pole-zero filtering approach for speech enhancement

Abstract: ter and multipulse excitation is provoiced speech segment. The excias the sum of two components: a train and a randomly distributed bipolar pulse sequence (usually of much smaller amplitude). e periodic impulse train is extracted to estimate the poler without any phase constraint, while the small s are added to reduce the reconstruction eris shown that this new procedure offers an scheme in high SNR conditions and can of 5-dB speech by as much as 5.16 dB.
