A Network Lifetime Extension-Aware Cooperative MAC Protocol for MANETs With Optimized Power Control

Abstract: In this paper, a cooperative medium access control (CMAC) protocol, termed network lifetime extension-aware CMAC (LEA-CMAC) for mobile ad-hoc networks (MANETs) is proposed.
