Abstract:In this contribution, a novel optimization approach, derived from the behavioral patterns exhibited by Duroc pig herds, is proposed. In the developed metaheuristic, termed Artificial Duroc Pigs Optimization (ADPO), Ordered Fuzzy Numbers (OFN) have been applied to articulate and elucidate the behavioral dynamics of the pig herd.
