Abstract:We describe a highly efficient route for the sulfonylation (C‐SO2) of various halo arenes, boronic acids, and aromatic diazonium salt through a cross‐coupling reaction. The protocol incorporates the efficient use of Cu(OAc)2/K2CO3 and N‐Hydoxy aryl sulfonamide as an aryl sulfone surrogate. Various substrates and functional groups were well tolerated in this reaction system.
