Abstract:A new class of rigid and sterically regular polymeric monodentate phosphoramidite ligands derived from (R)-BINOL were prepared and applied in the Rhodium-catalyzed asymmetric hydrogenation of α-dehydroamino acid derivatives. High catalytic activities and enantioselectivities (up to 99% ee) were achieved, which are comparable to those obtained with MonoPhos. The optimal mol ratio of Rh/ligand was proved to be 1:1.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
