A New Cytotoxic Diterpene with the Dolabellane Skeleton from the Marine Sponge Sigmosceptrella quadrilobata

Abstract: A new diterpene with the dolabellane skeleton 1 has been absolute stereochemistry, was performed with the aid of MS, NMR, and CD data and by molecular modeling. Compound isolated from the sponge of the Indian Ocean, Sigmosceptrella quadrilobata. Its structure elucidation, including 1 is moderately cytotoxic against four tumor cell lines.
