Abstract:We developed a new chromogenic and uorescent "off-on" 1,8-naphthalimide-derivated chemosensor 1 based on an F − -triggered desilylation reaction. It showed signi cant variations in UV/Visible absorption (510 nm) and uorescence emission wavelength (570 nm) for selective detection of uorides in tetrahydrofuran. Moreover, chemodosimeter 1-loaded test strips were successfully fabricated todetect uorides e ciently.

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
