A New Fluoride Chemodosimeter Based on 3-Ether-Substituted 1, 8-Naphthalimide Derivatives

Abstract: We developed a new chromogenic and uorescent "off-on" 1,8-naphthalimide-derivated chemosensor 1 based on an F − -triggered desilylation reaction. It showed signi cant variations in UV/Visible absorption (510 nm) and uorescence emission wavelength (570 nm) for selective detection of uorides in tetrahydrofuran.
