To successfully finalize projects and attain their determined purposes, it is indispensable to control all success criteria of a project. The time–cost trade-off (TCT) is known as a prevalent and efficient approach applied when the planned finish date of a project is not admitted by stakeholders, and consequently, the project duration must be decreased. This paper proposes a new mathematical model under fuzzy uncertainty to deal with the project cost–risk–quality trade-off problem (CRQT) under time constraints. Because of the unique nature of projects and their uncertain circumstances, applying crisp values for some project parameters does not seem appropriate. Hence, this paper employs fuzzy sets to resolve these weaknesses. In this study, two approaches are presented to handle proposed fuzzy multi-objective mathematical model. First, fuzzy credibility theory and then goal attainment method are used. Secondly, the model is solved by a fuzzy method based on expected interval and value and augmented ɛ-constraint method. A project from the literature review is adopted and solved by the presented methodology. The results demonstrate the accuracy and efficiency of the two proposed approaches for the introduced practical problem.

New product/process development entails technical and managerial complexities, such as coordination among interactions among entities and functions in the supply chain. DSM (Design structure matrix) tools have been successfully used to manage complex projects management tools to simplify the complexity and to offer a visual support to decision-making. Nevertheless, the project management community does not seem to have incorporated DSM, which is often perceived by project managers as being "too technical". To bridge this gap, we perform in this paper a systematic review, which analyzes the publications in the last 10 years about the use of DSM in project, innovation, and product management. The result of this analysis indicates DSM, and its derivations remain an ever-growing tool. Their applications in project management are promising but it is still required to increase the adoption of DSM into the mainstream methods of project management.

Occupational health and safety (OHS) is a multidisciplinary activity aimed at recognizing, evaluating and controlling hazards arising in or from the workplace that could impair the health and well‐being of workers. In dealing with an OHS risk analysis problem, it is a crucial step and also a big challenge to assess the risk of occupational hazards. Normally, domain experts tend to use qualitative words to express the risk of occupational hazards due to the fuzziness of human cognition, and multiple risk criteria are often involved in the OHS risk analysis. In this study, we develop a new OHS risk assessment framework by integrating the TODIM (an acronym in Portuguese for interactive and multicriteria decision‐making) and preference ranking organization method for enrichment evaluations (PROMETHEE) methods to assess and rank the risk of occupational hazards under linguistic spherical fuzzy environment. The linguistic spherical fuzzy sets are utilized to deal with the vague and uncertain risk assessments of occupational hazards provided by experts. An integrated TODIM‐PROMETHEE algorithm is introduced to determine the risk priority of the identified occupational hazards. Moreover, we extend the indifference threshold‐based attribute ratio analysis method to derive the relative weights of risk criteria based on linguistic spherical fuzzy information. Finally, the OHS risk analysis of medical staff in a hospital is presented to illustrate the effectiveness and availability of our proposed model. Results show that the TODIM‐PROMETHEE framework being developed in this study provides a useful, effective, and practical way for the risk assessment of occupational hazards in OHS.
