A new Isolated Hybrid Boosting Converter

Abstract: A new Isolated Hybrid Boosting Converter (IHBC) is proposed in this paper. It employs fly-back structure at primary side of transformer and a Bipolar Voltage Multiplier (BVM) structure at secondary side to increase the voltage gain. The circuit alternates between forward and fly-back modes, which avoids the use of magnetic reset winding.
