Abstract:A new construction of a potentiometric sensor was introduced for the first time. It relies on the use of two membranes instead of one, as in the well-known coated-disc electrode. For this purpose, a new electrode body was constructed, including not one, but two glassy carbon discs covered with an ion-selective membrane.
