Abstract:You know the story: you’ve had a hard week at university and a friend suggests a night out on the town… but have you ever considered the lengths that we go to on these social occasions in order to impress the opposite sex? This article will investigate the evolutionary explanations for these acts in which we feel have no real purpose other than to be a bit of fun.
