A Node Monitoring Agent based Handover Mechanism for Effective Communication in Cloud-Assisted MANETs in 5G

Abstract: As nodes often join or leave the network, the communication between the cloud and the MANET remains unreliable in Cloud-Assisted MANET. The event of connection failure in MANET presents several challenges to the network, in particular, the handover issue and high energy consumption during route re-establishment if a connection fails in D2D (device-to-device) communication networks.
