Abstract:Background: The consumption of ferns as vegetables and pickles in Nepal is a noteworthy phenomenon. Diplazium esculentum stands out as one of the most commonly consumed ferns. Being rich in plant resources, eastern Nepal remains relatively unexplored compared to central Nepal.
