A novel and sensitive fluorescence immunoassay on the basis of the inner-filter effects of quantum dots for the determination of norfloxacin in animal-origin foods
Abstract:A highly sensitive and reliable fluorescence immunoassay based on the inner-filter effects (IFE) of quantum dots (QDs) was developed for the sensitive detection of norfloxacin (NOR) in animal-origin foods. Briefly, the enzymatic formation of horseradish peroxidase in conventional ELISA effectively quenched the fluorescence of QDs through IFE, and then the absorption signal of conventional ELISA was transformed to fluorescent signals, resulting in a higher sensitivity for NOR detection in animal-origin foods.Th… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
