Abstract:Hydraulic fracturing is one of the most commonly used processes of stimulating oil and gas wells to improve the production in low permeability reservoirs or damaged wells. In response to the serious water waste caused by the flowback fluid after the fracturing operation and the huge environmental pressure, a novel CO2 sensitive and recyclable viscoelastic fracturing fluid was developed.
