A novel dissolution‐precipitation method for high‐efficiency separation of oil‐wetted oil sands

Abstract: Dissolution-precipitation is a novel high-efficiency method for separating oilwetted oil sands. Four dissolving agents and three precipitating agents were studied to select the optimal combination. Results showed that N,Ndimethylcyclohexylamine (DMCHA) and methanol were the optimal dissolving and precipitating agents, respectively. The chemical group compositions, element content, and H/C atom ratio of bitumen separated by DMCHAmethanol were analyzed, and the optimal conditions for oil sands separation were de… Show more

“…Therefore, it is very urgent to research the treatment of uranium-containing wastewater. At present, most uranium-containing wastewater is treated by chemical precipitation [12,13], evaporation [14], condensation-flocculation, ion exchange, extraction [15][16][17], membrane permeation, electrochemistry, and adsorption [18][19][20]. Among the above methods, adsorption method is an important research direction for uranium-containing wastewater treatment because of its convenient operation, economy and high efficiency [21].…”

“…It is of great practical significance to carry out basic research on green bitumen extraction technology. [1,2] Solvent extraction has attracted increasing attention because of its high extraction efficiency and mild processing conditions. [3][4][5][6] The ionic liquid (IL)-assisted solvent extraction with its superior potentials has a rapid development.…”
