A Novel High Resolution and Low Noise CMOS Vision Sensor for Portable Optical Analytical Lab-on-a-Chip System

Abstract: In this paper, the motivation is to integrated chemical and biomedical separation, analysis and assay techniques into a PCB technology-based system with LED light source, smart CMOS vision sensor and lab-on-a-chip device. One high sensitivity low noise pinned-photodiode smart CMOS vision sensor is designed and fabricated in this paper. The measurement shows that the maximum sensitivity is about 0.95V/sec.lux.
