Abstract:This work presents a novel microstrip patch antenna for future 5G mobile applications having resonant frequencies of 38, 47.7, 54.4 and 72GHz having bandwidth of 3, 3, 2 and 2GHz respectively. The main target frequency of over research was 38 GHz. This design is achieved using Rogers RT5880 (Lossy) substrate having standard thickness of 0.508mm with 2.2 dielectric constant and loss tangent of 0.0013.
