Abstract:Biomarker selection for predictive analytics encounters the problem of identifying a minimal-size subset of genes that is maximally predictive of an outcome of interest. For lung cancer gene expression datasets, it is a great challenge to handle the characteristics of small sample size, high dimensionality, high noise as well as the low reproducibility of important biomarkers in different studies. In this paper, our proposed meta-analysis-based regularized orthogonal matching pursuit (MA-ROMP) algorithm not on… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
