Abstract: A single mode optical fiber loop was employed as a temperature sensor to observe changes in optical loss regarding to ringdown time (RDT) by high sensitive the fiber loop ringdown spectroscopy (FLRDS) technique which has real-time and fast response measurement capability due to allowing trapped light pulse multiple interactions with the measurands.
