Abstract:In two-phase (gas/liquid or liquid/liquid) flow measurements, phase holdup is an important parameter. Electromagnetic induction techniques have been applied for determining this parameter. However, due to inhomogeneous sensitivity of the conventional inductive sensors, the accuracy in measuring phase holdup is seriously affected by flow regimes. To overcome this problem, multiple sensor configurations such as MIT have been considered; however, the sensitivity maps of MIT are not homogenous and in addition, the… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
