Abstract:High-entropy oxides (HEOs) are an emerging candidate of materials that has sparked increased attention in the field of sustainable energy because of their unique structure, tailorable chemical composition, and tunable physical, chemical, and functional properties. In this work, phase-pure HEO (Mn, Fe, Co, Ni, Cu) 3 O 4 nanoparticles were synthesized using thermal plasma under optimum processing conditions at 11 kW input power with argon and carbon dioxide as the plasma-forming gases. Assynthesized powders were… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
