This study is intended to describe all local government problems in tourism development policies in the Tomini Bay area of Gorontalo. It outlines dynamic capability collaboration, relational perspectives, and resource-based theory to explain mechanisms and dynamics. The results of this study require collaboration, innovation, and integration of the interests of stakeholders of various parties in the development of a sustainable and innovative regional system. The tourism sector is one of the opportunities to increase local income. However, this has experienced constraints on aspects of local culture that are still attached to community customs, other things such as involvement and empowerment, education, technical guidance of the community that stand out in tourist destination services. This encourages local governments to continue to develop the tourism sector in improving community welfare. This study obtained novelty of new study findings in tourism development policy by the Gorontalo local government, namely the need for the role of stakeholders still requires the synergy of various parties in the Penta helix perspective (academics, business, community, government, and media). The collaborative governance process through face-to-face dialogue, trust building, commitment to the process, shared understanding, and intermediate outcomes has contributed positively in accelerating the development and promotion of digital platform-based tourism potential. Managing Post Covid-19 Crisis in the Tourism and Hospitality Sector Through Sustainable Recovery Strategies

This study aims to formulate effective and sustainable strategies to manage post COVID-19 crisis in the tourism and hospitality industry. Data were collected from 290 respondents using the purposive sampling procedure in which the response rate is 70.7%. The structural equation modeling software, SmartPLS 3.0, is used to analyze the constructs of this study and hypothesis testing. The result shows that among the 6 hypothesized paths, 4 were supported, and out of 32 relationship paths, 25 paths are significant. This study reveals that travel risk management, service delivery system, hygiene and safety are the most influencial factors of travel behavior.

This study looks at the role of community entrepreneurial development in mediating the linkages between geographical conditions, local wisdom, and traditional culture on the sustainability of tourism villages. In this study, this hypothesis was evaluated quantitatively. Respondents filled out a questionnaire as a research instrument. Village officials, the Tourist Awareness Group (Pokdarwis), and the community in Cikolelet Tourism Village, Banten Province, participated in this research. 140 individuals were selected for this study using purposive sampling, and the data were analyzed using a structural equation model (SEM). According to the conclusions of this study, geographical conditions, local wisdom, and traditional culture have a beneficial and statistically significant influence on community entrepreneurial development but do not directly affect the sustainability of tourism villages. Community entrepreneurial development influences the sustainability of tourist villages. Furthermore, community entrepreneurial development mediates the relationship between geographical conditions, local wisdom, and traditional culture on the sustainability of tourist villages. These findings recommend that tourism stakeholder cooperation between village officials, the Tourist Awareness Group, and the community must collaborate in the sustainability of the tourist village. This paper offers novelty by investigating community entrepreneurial development variables as mediators of the influence of geographical conditions, local wisdom, and traditional culture on the sustainability of tourist villages with exploratory quantitative analysis. In contrast, previous research only used explorative qualitative analysis, at least in the tourism sector, from an Indonesian perspective.
