A Possibility to Build Isolated Masonry Housing in High Seismic Zones Using Rubber Seismic Isolators

Abstract:  New residential buildings in developing countries often have inadequate seismic protection, particularly for masonry. Such material is widely preferred because the cost and application are relatively cheap.
