Abstract:In this study, a numerical approach has been introduced in the elastic stress solutions of hollow disks made of functionally graded materials (FGM) that are exposed to linearly increasing temperature dispersion. The modulus of elasticity and the coefficient of thermal expansion of the FGM disk is assumed to vary in radial direction in different forms, and it is further assumed that the Poisson's ratio is constant. It causes the differential equation that manages the behaviour of the object under different mate… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
