A Pseudo-Kinase Double Act

Abstract: Pragmin is a catalytically inactive pseudo-kinase that is important in regulating cellular growth and adhesion. In this issue of Structure, Lecointre et al. (2018) present the structure of Pragmin, illustrating a dimerization domain flanking its pseudo-kinase domain that is important for Pragmin-mediated activation of the non-receptor tyrosine kinase CSK.
