A qualitative study on the Development of Healthy Tennis Clubs in the Netherlands

Abstract: An unhealthy lifestyle, specifically smoking, lack of physical activity and an unhealthy diet, is a major contributing factor to morbidity and mortality in the Netherlands (1) . Tennis is second only to soccer in terms of popularity, and the Royal Netherlands Lawn Tennis Association (KNLTB) has almost 700 000 registered members (2) .
