A Quality Improvement Project to Reduce Inappropriate Telemetry Utilization in Nephrology Inpatients at an Academic Hospital

Abstract: Background: Cardiac telemetry plays a key role in diagnosing and monitoring arrhythmias in hospitalized patients. The American Heart Association (AHA) provides recommendations on the use of telemetry outside the intensive care unit (ICU).
