A Quantum-Classical Model of Brain Dynamics

Abstract: The study of the human psyche has elucidated a bipartite structure of cognition reflecting the quantum-classical nature of any process that generates knowledge and learning governed by brain activity. Acknowledging the importance of such a finding for modelization, we posit an approach to study brain by means of the quantum-classical dynamics of a Mixed Weyl symbol. The Mixed Weyl symbol is used to describe brain processes at the microscopic level and, when averaged over an appropriate ensemble, provides a lin… Show more

“…The human brain is made up of a huge number of unconscious processing units that are connected in a convoluted manner and operate in line with the rules of physics that remain unchanging. The intricate interconnectedness of these unconscious processing units, called neurons [23,[69][70][71][72], gives rise to consciousness. There are several theories of consciousness, including the idealism theory, the epiphenomenalism theory, the physicalism theory, and the inter-actionist dualism theory [23].…”

“…Much needs done to bring this idea, and it is just an idea, to a practical reality. 4,5 The question arises "what is artificial intelligence"? Current understanding suggests that artificial intelligence (AI) is the ability of a computer or a computer-controlled robot (bot for short) to perform tasks commonly associated with intelligent beings.…”
