A rapid endgame performance analysis method for exoatmosphere interceptor based on CADET

Abstract: The relative equations between interceptor and target are conducted in rotation coordinate of Line of Sight. An error propagate model of LOS rate is established which is based on CADET (Covariance Analysis Describing Function Technique). This model takes several factors into consideration, such as estimate error of LOS rate, acceleration saturation of interceptor, sampling rate. A set of analytical solution is acquired. The uncertainty of Zero Effort Miss distance can be got conveniently according to the varie… Show more

“…CADET is featured with the characteristics of time-saving, high efficiency, and high reliability (Taylor & Price, 1974). This method has been widely used in the guidance system precision analysis since it was proposed (Liang et al, 2010;Lv & Liang, 2015;Weiss & Bucco, 2011;Zhang et al, 2014). In those statistical performance studies, the uncertainties are assumed to be external disturbances, such as gyro drift, seeker measurement error, actuator mounting angle error, wind and so on.…”

“…Jiang et al 21 developed a modified CADET method to solve the problem of analyzing a nonlinear system with parametric perturbation. In Zhang et al, 22 considering the line of sight (LOS) rate accuracy, acceleration saturation capabilities of interceptor, and sampling rate, Zhang and Li used CADET analyze the endgame performance of an interceptor.…”
