Abstract:Abstracts-A rapid test for amanitins is proposed on the basis of their complexation with ethydium bromide leading to an intensively fluorescent adduct; the fluorescence band of the product has a shorter wavelength than that of ethydium bromide, which ensures the high specificity of the analysis. The fluorescence intensity in the system of ethydium bromide -amanitin grows linearly with the concentration of amanitin in the range 0.2-1.7 μM at the constant concentration of ethydium bromide, 0.6 μM. The detection … Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
