Abstract:Background: Non-Operative Management of Splenic Injuries (NOMSI) is the standard approach to blunt splenic trauma in the stable patient. Complications of NOMSI are well documented, however splenocolonic fistulas (SCFs) are rare and usually due to chronic inflammatory or neoplastic events.
